Horses that start in the Island Fashion Stakes Will Receive A Free Entry, (To The Sunland Park Oaks). Horses that were not nominated, must pay a $10,000 Supplemental fee at the time of entry. Weight; 121 lbs. Certain finishing positions in this race will earn points to qualify for the 2022 Kentucky Oaks, pursuant to the rules published by Churchill Downs Incorporated. The winner of The Sunland Park Oaks will be awarded 50 points, the second place finisher 20 points, third place finisher 10 points and fourth place finisher 5 points. First preference to highest earnings in a graded stakes, second preference to highest lifetime earnings at time of closing nominations. After payment of 1% to all owners finishing six through last, The remaining purse will be distributed as follows 60% to the winner, 22% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth.
