After payment of 1.25% to each owner of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining association purse will be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% tofourth, 3% to fifth. KTDF funds correspondingly divided providing a KTDF eligible horse finishes in an award position. Weight: 122 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade I or II in 2023, allowed 2 lbs.; a sweepstakes since April 7, 4 lbs. The maximum number of staarters for The Perryville will be limited to twelve. In the event that the race overfills the starters will be determined at that time with preference given to graded or group stakes winners (in order I-II-III), graded stakes placed (in order I-II-III),then condition preference. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. A set of two silver julep cups will be presented to the owner of the winner.
